site visit
I'm going AWOL for the next week or so while on site visit...I'm going to be about two hours south of Kharkov in a city of about 33,000. Apparently I'll be teaching 3,4,6,7,8,9, and 10th forms for the next two years. :)
Also, apparently I need to start learning Russian, as eastern Ukraine is primarily Russian-speaking (or so I am told). If this is the case, why have I been learning Ukrainian for the last six weeks???

I vote for Russian. It seems far more practical. There are lots of people from Russia in Köln, so you'll have a relational starting point when you come here to work after the PC ;).
Thinking of you... :)
Who says I'm coming to Koln? You never know, I might just stay in Kyiv! (And since Kyiv is a Russian-speaking city, I guess that puts me back in the same position.)
Assuming I stay in Europe long-term. God and I haven't discussed that yet. He's letting me get through PST before thinking past December.
